Does anyone else ONLY watch football on one single day of the year, for the purpose of eating delicious food with your friends and watching the epic halftime show?
No? Just me? Am I a disgrace to the sport of football?!?!
Listen – I don’t want this to have some awful stereotypical undertone wherein I seem like I’m completely uninterested in sports because I’m female. In fact, it really bothers me to even write that! That is not the case at all. I am specifically just SO not into in football. I’m not sure why! I honestly think it might be because I’ve never properly understood it. I just find it difficult to follow, and that makes me unable to fully enjoy it.
I love watching basketball (although I don’t have cable TV and I’m really bad at going on the hunt for good online streams, hah), and even baseball. But I am just not interested in watching football. Except, of course, on the day of the Super Bowl. My friends and I have a tradition where every year, we go to my friend’s parents’ house, to cozy up on the giant couches and watch the Super Bowl on an epically large TV screen. I always cook up a bunch of healthy eats + treats and we love it!
