Thanks for visiting Kula’s Kitchen, where I hope to inspire you to get in the kitchen cooking delicious, healthy, homemade food (and treats) that will make you feel your best.

My mission is simple: to dispel the myth that healthy eating is difficult or expensive, and to help you to get in the kitchen cooking REAL, healthy, delicious food that will make you feel amazing (without spending a ton of money!)

I've always loved food, but my interest has grown over the past few years into a full-on passion for cooking and most importantly, eating real food. I want to make cooking & healthy eating accessible to everyone, so after years of hearing friends, acquaintances & strangers write off eating well for being "too expensive" or "too difficult", I set out to prove them wrong. The thing is, I don't blame people for having this false idea. In this day and age, there are so many companies telling us about speciality products & potions and why we should be consuming them. But the truth is that you can get everything you need for a healthy (and tasty) lifestyle from simple, whole ingredients - and ones that are relatively accessible! Shocker, I know. Along my path, I have also developed a deep love and appreciation for the process of cooking, which I now find to be calming, therapeutic and a perfect way to express my creativity and experiment with new ingredients & flavours.

It just takes a bit of commitment and planning, so I want to make it as easy as possible for you. Here you'll find all kinds of sweet & savoury recipes, many of them grain-free, gluten-free, refined-sugar free and occasionally vegan. I don't stick to any particular diet - I just eat what makes me feel best after years of experimenting with different foods and discovering what helps me to feel my best.
